What we collect
FactoryMusic collects lightweight analytics to help artists understand their audience. When a fan opens an artist's page or taps a streaming link, we record an anonymous click event — the release, the platform, and a timestamp. We do not require fans to create an account or log in to view artist pages.
How we use it
Click data is aggregated and shown to the artist in their analytics dashboard so they can see which releases and platforms perform best. We never sell fan data, and individual fans are not identified or profiled.
Third-party platforms
Streaming and social links send fans to external services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). Once a fan leaves FactoryMusic, the destination platform's own privacy policy applies. We don't control what those services collect.
Artist information
Artists choose what to publish — display name, bio, photos, links, and contact email. Anything an artist adds to their public page is visible to anyone with the link.
Data retention & contact
